  1. Event Description: From the beginning, our vision at D.C. Halo has been to provide organized, large-scale LANs in the DMV on a regular basis. With that said, it is my pleasure to officially announce our first official LAN Event!

    Date:
    - Saturday, February 23

    Time
    - 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM*
*This is an abbreviated time slot given to us by eStarland. If everything goes smoothly as far as attendance and event function, there's a great chance that we can get a longer time slot for the future. Let's show them how big the Halo Community is and prove to them that we are worthy of a longer session!

    Entry Fee:
    - $5/Person*
*100% of the entry fee will be to cover the venue fee for eStarland's new Event Room. For such a large area to hold this event, we are definitely getting a great value for the money!

    Event Format:
    - For our first event, we just want to show the community exactly what D.C. Halo is capable of! This event will be an open 4v4 LAN session. So whether you're looking to network with other Halo players in the Washington D.C. Metro area, to get some rare local LAN experience for national tournaments (MLG, AGL, etc.), or just are wanting to come out to an event with others who share a similar interest in Halo, this D.C. Halo LAN Event is for you!
    - To those looking to showcase their skills and play in a local tournament, be on the lookout for official D.C. Halo cash tournaments in the near future as well!
    - Gametypes: Here at D.C. Halo, we play like the pros do! With that said, we will be running games on the most recent MLG gametypes. As of right now, these are the v1 settings found below:

    Setups:
    - Our goal is to have 2 complete full-screen setups to run Halo 4, along with a smaller station to cater to the some nostalgic Halo (CE, Halo 2, etc).

    Ground Rules:
    - BYOC/BYOH: We ask that you bring your own controllers and headsets for your own personal use. It is STRONGLY recommended that you label your belongings to prevent theft. Anyone who can bring their Astro's and Mixamp are definitely encouraged to do so.
    - We are NOT responsible for any loss or damage to your equipment due to negligence. With that said, everybody show respect your peer's belongings and there will be no issue.
    - Keep in mind, this is a family-friendly place. There may be other paying customers there trying to enjoy their retail experience as well. We understand the nature of competitive gaming can get intense. Trash-talking is definitely allowed, but please keep the vulgarity down in respect to others.
    - No food or drinks on the stations themselves. This is pretty self-explanatory and will ensure that damage to your equipment will be avoided.
Game Divisions:
  1. Halo 4 (4v4) $5.00 / Team Details
Prize Info: Open LAN Session; no tournament yet. Be on the lookout for future tournaments with cash prizes from D.C. Halo!
